Building a Net-Zero Future, Together
Energy Trust of Oregon is proud to support the innovative minds who make net-zero buildings possible, from current industry professionals to the leaders of tomorrow. Through our fellowship and internship grants, we aim to drive a sustainable future where new buildings produce as much energy as they consume.
We award fellowship grants to support research projects that advance net-zero design and technologies, address potential barriers or help grow community involvement. The 2021 grant will provide up to $50,000 to support research over 12 to 18 months.

Oregon architecture and engineering firms are eligible for our Net Zero Emerging Leaders grant to employ students for a 12-week internship. The interns support each firm’s AIA 2030 Commitment—a national initiative to evolve design practices so participating firms can work to achieve net-zero-energy buildings by 2030.
