Starting a new online application?

What You Need To Know
  1. Eligibility:
    • Your installation address must be in Oregon and you must heat your water with fuel from Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas or Avista.
    • You must purchase a qualifying appliance. A list of qualifying models can be found on our appliance page.
    • You must submit your application within 60 days from the date of purchase.
    • Additional qualifications may apply. Visit our appliance page for more information.
  2. Required Documents:

    You will need the following types of documents to upload in order to complete the online application:

    • Receipt or invoice (including model number, retailers, purchase price, purchase date and proof of payment).
    • Special Services Customer Invoice (SSCI) if you purchased your clothes washer in-store at The Home Depot.
  3. Application Process:
    • Upload your receipt or invoice.
    • Complete the online application.
    • We will send you a confirmation email so you know your online application has been submitted successfully.
  4. Payment Process:
    • We will email you if we need to request any information that will keep your application moving.
    • We will mail you your incentive check in 6—8 weeks*

Energy Trust regularly updates our online tools and applications. We strongly recommend you clear your browser’s cache prior to applying or that you access the online application through Incognito or Private Browsing mode in your browser. This will help reduce any user experience issues.

Incentives are subject to funding availability and may change.

Incentive checks arrive in the mail within 6—8 weeks of submitting a complete and qualifying incentive application.
